RMA will be holding its Annual Meeting May 26, 2011 at Bank of America in Waltham, MA at 12 noon.

Following the meeting a panel discussion will be held focusing on trends in the real estate lending market. Join us for lunch and a great discussion on credit risk in today's market. Our panelists are David Klapes, Field Examiner with the FDIC, Thomas Rasmussen, Regional Field Manager with the MA Division of Banks, Jack D'Ambrosia, Executive Vice President at Chaston Associates, and Steve Falconer, CEO of Lender Sentinel.  

Some topics for discussion will be:

• Stress Testing of CRE
• Appraisal Issues (independence and review)
• Underwriting standards
• Workout pitfalls
• Compliance issues impacting CML and CRE  

This will be an interactive pane/audience discussion so bring your questions for our panelists and audience members.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING

In accordance with the RMA New England Chapter Bylaws, Article 5.04, amended and adopted October 2003, by the New England Chapter of the Risk Management Association, the May 26, 2011 meeting will serve as the Chapter’s Annual Meeting of its Associate and Institutional Membership.  As required by the Chapter Bylaws, the annual election of Chapter Officers and Directors will take place.
